Last updated: July 19, 2026. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the public website operated by Model United Nations Liberia (“MUN-Liberia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Educational purpose

The site provides general information about our non-profit mission, programs, and how to get involved. It does not create a binding contract to admit any person to a conference unless and until separate official rules and registration terms are published for that specific activity.

2. Eligibility and conduct

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or inhibit their use. Harassment, hate speech, malware distribution, scraping that overloads any host you control, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems are prohibited.

3. Intellectual property

Text, layout, graphics, and logos displayed on this site are owned by MUN-Liberia or used with permission. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other reproduction, modification, or public distribution requires our prior written consent, except as allowed by law.

4. Trademarks

“Model United Nations Liberia,” “MUN-Liberia,” and related logos are identifiers of our organization. The United Nations name and emblem are subject to the UN’s own rules; our program is independent and educational. Third-party trademarks (for example, social network icons) belong to their respective owners.

5. External links

Links to third-party websites or applications (including social media, Linktree, WhatsApp, and Google Forms) are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices. Review each provider’s terms and privacy policy before use.

6. No professional advice

Content on this site is for general information only and is not legal, financial, immigration, medical, or other professional advice. Seek qualified professionals for decisions in those areas.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in the Republic of Liberia, MUN-Liberia and its volunteers, directors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the site. Our aggregate liability for claims arising from the site will not exceed fifty United States dollars (USD 50) or the equivalent, unless a higher minimum applies under law that cannot be waived.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MUN-Liberia from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Liberia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Monrovia, Liberia, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have under consumer protection laws in your home country.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
