Last updated: July 18, 2026. This Privacy Notice (“notice”) is our website privacy policy. It describes how Model United Nations Liberia (“MUN-Liberia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our public website.
Who we are

2. Scope
This Notice applies to information processed through pages served from this static website project (HTML/CSS/JS files). It does not govern third-party platforms such as social networks, Google Forms, WhatsApp, or email providers; those services have their own privacy policies.
3. Information we do not collect on our web server
This site, as provided, is a set of static files. We do not operate a login system, user database, or server-side analytics on the files themselves. We do not intentionally place advertising cookies on these pages.
4. Information you choose to send us
If you use the contact experience (for example, a mail link that opens your email program), you voluntarily provide your name, email address, and message content to us by email. We use that information only to respond to your inquiry and to manage our relationship with you (for example, delegation coordination, partnerships, or volunteering).
5. Technical data your browser may disclose
Like most websites, when you load pages your browser automatically sends technical data to hosting infrastructure (if any) such as IP address, browser type, date/time of access, and requested file names. If you host this site on a commercial host, that host’s logs may retain such data under the host’s policy. We encourage you to review your hosting provider’s documentation.
6. Fonts and third-party requests
These pages may request fonts from Google Fonts. Google may receive technical data (for example, IP address) as described in Google’s privacy documentation. You may self-host fonts or remove the Google Fonts link in the HTML if you require zero third-party requests.
7. Social links and external sites
Links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Linktree, WhatsApp, and application forms leave our site. Opening those links is subject to each provider’s terms and privacy practices.
8. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on applicable law (including concepts similar to the GDPR where they may apply to specific processing), we rely on legitimate interests in operating an educational non-profit, communicating with people who contact us, and protecting against fraud; and on consent where we ask for it explicitly (for example, optional surveys hosted on third-party platforms).
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, including responding to inquiries, administering our programs, maintaining required business records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.
If you leave comments on our website (where enabled), the comments and their associated metadata may be retained indefinitely to allow us to recognize and automatically approve future comments instead of holding them for moderation.
10. Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may share your information only when necessary to operate our programs and services, including with trusted service providers such as website hosting providers, email platforms, payment processors, event management systems, educational partners, accredited schools, or conference venues. We may also share information when required by law, to protect our legal rights, or with your consent.

We use reasonable organizational measures to protect information we receive. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive information unless we request it through a documented process.

Our programs involve students. If you are under 18, please involve a parent, guardian, or school official when communicating with us or submitting forms on third-party platforms.
13. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

- Request deletion of your personal information where permitted by law.

16. Media
If you upload images or other media to our website, you should avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website may be able to download and extract location data from publicly accessible images.
