About Us

Chernor A. Diallo, a first-generation high school and university graduate, founded MUN-Liberia after experiencing Model UN for the first time while studying abroad in an IB Diploma Program in West Asia in 2018. Inspired by the powerful and diverse voices and impacts of his fellow young change makers, many of whom, like himself, were from countries recovering from or still in active conflicts and disasters, he returned to Liberia in 2020 to build a platform for young leaders to amplify their voices and ideas for sustainable peace and development. He envisions a youthful population that leads the world toward a more cohesive, just, and sustainable future for all.
